Sharing Sequences
Section titled “Sharing Sequences”Sequence sharing allows you to share your carefully crafted sequence templates with other Vaam users. When you share a sequence, others can view your sequence structure and copy it to their own library to use as a starting point for their outreach campaigns.
How to Share a Sequence
Section titled “How to Share a Sequence”Step 1: Make Your Sequence Shareable
Section titled “Step 1: Make Your Sequence Shareable”- Open your sequence in the sequence editor
- Navigate to the sequence configuration panel
- Check the “Shareable” checkbox to enable sharing
- Save your sequence changes
[!NOTE] Only sequences marked as shareable can be shared with others. This gives you control over which sequences are available for sharing.
Step 2: Copy the Share Link
Section titled “Step 2: Copy the Share Link”- Go to your sequences list
- Click the three-dot menu (⋮) next to the sequence you want to share
- Select “Copy share link” from the dropdown menu
- The share link will be copied to your clipboard automatically
Step 3: Send the Link
Section titled “Step 3: Send the Link”Share the copied link with the person you want to give access to your sequence. They can use any communication method - email, Slack, Teams, etc.
How Recipients View and Copy Shared Sequences
Section titled “How Recipients View and Copy Shared Sequences”When someone clicks on your share link, they will:
- See a read-only view of your entire sequence structure
- View all the steps, timing, and flow of your sequence
- See who created the original sequence
- Click “Clone this sequence” to copy it to their own library
What Gets Shared
Section titled “What Gets Shared”When you share a sequence, recipients get access to:
- Sequence structure - all steps, timing, and flow
- Email templates - subject lines and message content
- Step types - email, LinkedIn message, call, etc.
- Wait times - delays between steps
What Doesn’t Get Shared
Section titled “What Doesn’t Get Shared”For privacy and security, shared sequences do not include:
- Personal videos - any recorded videos are not copied
- Automated video configurations - AI video settings remain private
- Performance statistics - sequence stats like open rates, replies, etc.
- Prospect data - no contact information is shared
[!NOTE] When someone clones your shared sequence, their copy will be private by default (not shareable) until they choose to enable sharing.
Managing Your Shared Sequences
Section titled “Managing Your Shared Sequences”Making a Sequence Private Again
Section titled “Making a Sequence Private Again”- Open the sequence in the editor
- Uncheck the “Shareable” checkbox in the sequence configuration
- Save your changes
Once you make a sequence private, the existing share links will no longer work, but anyone who already cloned it will keep their copy.
Best Practices for Sharing Sequences
Section titled “Best Practices for Sharing Sequences”- Review your content before making a sequence shareable to ensure it represents your best work
- Add clear step descriptions to help others understand your strategy
- Test your sequence yourself before sharing to ensure it flows logically
- Consider your audience - share sequences that would be valuable to your team or industry peers
- Keep sensitive information private - avoid sharing sequences with confidential company information
Team Collaboration Tips
Section titled “Team Collaboration Tips”Share template sequences with new team members to help them get started quickly with proven outreach strategies.
Create a library of shareable sequences for different use cases (cold outreach, follow-ups, event promotion, etc.).
Document your strategy in step descriptions to help others understand the thinking behind your sequence structure.
