Record locally

If you cannot record videos with Vaam after trying the steps in Video recording does not work, record a short video locally to debug the issue further.

1. Start the Vaam extension.
2. Click the three-dot menu in the configuration bar at the bottom of the extension window.
3. Select Advanced.
4. Click Debug.
5. Select Record locally.
6. Record a short video. 10 to 15 seconds is enough.
7. When you finish, Vaam saves a file called recording.webm to your hard drive.
