Profile Posts agent

A Profile Posts agent watches posts from a person’s LinkedIn profile and finds people who comment or react. Use it when a founder, salesperson, creator, partner, or industry expert attracts the audience you want to reach.

  • Following up with people who engage with a founder or salesperson’s posts.
  • Finding prospects around an industry expert or event speaker.
  • Turning employee-led content into a repeatable source of warm prospects.
  • Testing whether a particular person’s audience matches the people you want to reach.

Have these ready:

  • The person’s LinkedIn profile URL or their profile name from the URL.
  • An active, non-template sequence that is ready for new prospects.
  • A decision about whether to include comments, reactions, or both.
  • Your standard audience, or a custom audience for this agent.

Make sure the person regularly publishes public posts that attract relevant engagement.

  1. Go to Agents, click Create Agent, and select Profile Posts.
  2. Enter an agent name and select the target sequence.
  3. Choose which connection degrees to include, or select All connections.
  4. Turn on Require approval if you want to review prospects before they enter the sequence.
  5. Paste the LinkedIn profile URL, or enter the profile name from the URL.
  6. Under Engagement Types, select Commented, Reacted, or both.
  7. Choose how long Vaam should monitor each post for new engagement.
  8. Click Next, then use your standard audience or customize it for this agent.
  9. Click Create Agent.

The agent monitors posts from the selected profile for the chosen period. It finds people with the engagement types you selected, applies your connection-degree and audience choices, and then either adds matching prospects to the sequence or holds them for approval.

  • Choose a profile because of the audience it attracts, not only because it has a large following.
  • Start with comments for higher-intent engagement, then add reactions if you need more volume.
  • Refer to the topic or shared interest in your sequence instead of implying that you know exactly which post a prospect saw.
  • Use prospect approval while you learn how relevant the profile’s audience is.

You can edit the engagement types, monitoring period, audience settings, approval setting, and active or paused status later. The profile source, agent type, and target sequence are read-only; create a new agent to change them.
