Vaam integrations

Vaam integrations do two different jobs. Email integrations let Vaam send messages from your own mailbox. CRM integrations send the activity Vaam generates — sequence steps, LinkedIn engagement, and video opens and views — into the system your team already works in.

Vaam has three native CRM integrations, which sync your prospects and your outreach activity:

IntegrationWhat it doesHow you connect
HubSpotCreates and updates contacts and companies, writes Vaam activity to the contact timeline, and can block outreach to contacts owned by another rep or in a protected lifecycle stageSign in to HubSpot from Vaam
PipedriveSyncs new prospects to Pipedrive people, including the LinkedIn profile URL, and logs video activitySign in to Pipedrive from Vaam
UpsalesSyncs prospects to Upsales contacts and a campaign, logs LinkedIn invitation and video activity, and can block prospects owned by another team memberPaste an Upsales API key

Two more tools receive video activity only — they do not sync your prospects or your sequence steps:

  • Salesforce: video opens, views, and conversions are logged to a Salesforce lead. Sign in to Salesforce from Vaam.
  • Salesloft: video opens, views, and conversions are reported as notes on the matching prospect. Sign in to Salesloft from Vaam.

Vaam does not bulk-import your CRM’s contact list. It writes the activity it generates into your CRM, and reads back only the specific fields it needs — owner, lifecycle stage, and matching contacts — to block outreach and avoid duplicates.

Does Vaam sync my LinkedIn outreach to my CRM?

Section titled “Does Vaam sync my LinkedIn outreach to my CRM?”

Yes, with HubSpot and Upsales. Both receive sequence and LinkedIn engagement activity, so a rep looking at the CRM record can see that Vaam sent an invitation or a message. Pipedrive receives the prospect record and video activity. Salesforce and Salesloft receive video activity only.

You send email through your own mailbox. Vaam connects to Gmail and Outlook.

Yes, as long as the mailbox is hosted by Google Workspace or Microsoft 365. Vaam authenticates against Google or Microsoft, not against the domain name, so an address like you@yourcompany.com works when your company’s mail runs on either provider.

Vaam does not support connecting a mailbox through plain IMAP or SMTP, so a mailbox hosted somewhere else cannot be used for sending. If you are unsure who hosts your mail, ask whoever administers it.

Every integration is added from the same place:

  1. Open Settings → Integrations at app.vaam.io.
  2. Click Add integration.
  3. Pick the integration and complete the sign-in or API key step.

Some CRM integrations are team-scoped: one CRM account connects to one Vaam team, and everyone on the team shares that connection. See the individual page for details.
