Email sending schedule
Vaam sends sequence emails on weekdays only, between an Email start time and an Email end time that you choose. Outside those hours nothing goes out, so a prospect never gets a message from you late at night.
The default window is 07:00 to 12:00 in your local time zone.
What the two times mean
Section titled “What the two times mean”Email start time is the earliest hour each weekday that Vaam starts sending. The default is 07:00.
Email end time is the hour when sending stops. The default is 12:00, so the last email of the day goes out at 11:59. The end time must be at least four hours after the start time. Pick 24:00 if you want Vaam to keep sending until midnight. The latest available start time is 20:00.
If you previously set a start time from 21:00 to 23:00, Vaam now uses 20:00 to 24:00.
Until you pick an end time, Vaam keeps the length of the default window. A start time of 09:00 therefore ends at 14:00, not 12:00. Pick an end time to set it yourself.
Vaam does not send sequence emails on Saturday or Sunday.
How do I change the window?
Section titled “How do I change the window?”- Go to Settings → Outreach → Email.
- Find the Email schedule card.
- Select an Email start time and an Email end time.
Vaam uses your account’s local time zone to apply both settings, so you do not need to convert times yourself.
What happens to emails that do not fit in the window?
Section titled “What happens to emails that do not fit in the window?”They wait. Vaam spaces your sends out across the window instead of firing them all at once, so a large batch can run out of hours before it runs out of emails. Whatever is left goes out when the window next opens, which is the next weekday morning.
The same applies after an outage. A send that was ready during the window but could not go out waits for the next window rather than arriving at an odd hour.
Does changing the times affect emails Vaam has already sent?
Section titled “Does changing the times affect emails Vaam has already sent?”No. New times apply to future sends only. They do not change emails that Vaam has already sent.
