Send a form in a sequence
You can add a Quick Form to an email or LinkedIn message in a sequence. Each prospect gets a tracked form link, so Vaam can connect opens, answers, submissions, and drop-off to that prospect and sequence when possible.
Add a form to a message
Section titled “Add a form to a message”- Open the sequence.
- Edit the email or LinkedIn message step where you want the form to appear.
- Click the form button in the message editor.
- Choose a published form.
- Insert the form into the message.
- Save the step.
In an email, the form can appear as linked text or as a full link, depending on how you insert it. In a LinkedIn message, it appears as a plain link.
What prospects see
Section titled “What prospects see”When the message is sent, Vaam turns the form placeholder into a public form URL. The prospect opens the form on Vaam’s forms domain and answers one step at a time.
The prospect only sees the form experience.
What Vaam tracks
Section titled “What Vaam tracks”For form links sent in sequences, Vaam can track:
- Form opened.
- Form started.
- Questions answered.
- Form submitted.
- Form left before submission.
This helps you understand which prospects are engaging and where they stop.
Use forms for follow-up logic
Section titled “Use forms for follow-up logic”You can use form activity to guide follow-up. For example:
- If a prospect submits the form, send a tailored follow-up.
- If a prospect opens but does not submit, send a reminder.
- If a prospect does not open, continue with your normal sequence.
Form-based follow-up works best when the form is clearly connected to the message. Tell the prospect why they should answer it.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”I cannot insert a form
Section titled “I cannot insert a form”Make sure the form is published. Draft and archived forms should not be available for new sequence messages.
The link is not tied to a prospect
Section titled “The link is not tied to a prospect”Use the form from inside the sequence editor. Copying a standalone form link manually may not include the tracking needed to connect the response to a specific prospect.
