Archiving an agent

Archiving removes an agent from your Agents list without deleting it. Use it when an agent has done its job and you want to keep what it found.

Archiving is an alternative to deleting. Deleting an agent is permanent and takes its prospects and results with it. Archiving does neither.

  1. Go to the Agents list.
  2. Open the actions menu on the agent you want to archive.
  3. Click Archive.

The agent leaves the list and pauses. It stops scanning for new prospects.

When you have at least one archived agent, an Archived button appears at the top of the Agents list with a count next to it.

  1. Click Archived to see the archived agents.
  2. Open the actions menu on the agent you want back.
  3. Click Restore.
  4. Click Show active to return to your normal list.

A restored agent stays paused. Open the actions menu and click Activate when you want it to scan again.

  • The agent pauses and stops scanning. It finds no new prospects while it is archived.
  • Prospects still loading their profile details stop where they are. They continue when you restore and activate the agent.
  • The prospects it already found stay with the agent, along with their status and history.
  • The agent stops counting toward the summary cards at the top of the Agents page.
  • Prospects still waiting for your approval no longer appear in the approval count. They are still there when you restore the agent.
  • You can open an archived agent from the archived list and see everything it found.

An archived agent never scans, even if its status says otherwise. Restore it first, then activate it.

  • Archive agents from finished campaigns so the list only shows what runs now.
  • Archive a LinkedIn Search agent that has checked every result in its search. A completed agent cannot be resumed, so archiving clears it from the list while keeping its prospects.
  • Archive a seasonal agent after the season ends and restore it when the season comes around again.
