Use Motion widget in your video
Add a Motion booking link to your video
Section titled “Add a Motion booking link to your video”Use a Motion widget when you want your video’s viewers to book a meeting without leaving the page. Use a reusable public booking link so it remains available to every recipient.
- In Motion, open the booking link you want to share.
- Copy its public URL. It usually looks like
https://usemotion.com/meet/your-name/meeting. - Open the share page for your Vaam video.
- Below the video player, select Add widget and then New widget.
- Choose Motion from the calendar service dropdown.
- Paste the link into Your calendar link, then select Add.
- Select Preview to verify the booking page loads and shows times.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”The booking page does not load
Section titled “The booking page does not load”Check that you copied Motion’s public booking link, rather than a link to a Motion workspace or settings page. Open it in a private browser window to confirm recipients can access it.
Recipients see no available times
Section titled “Recipients see no available times”Review the availability and calendar settings for that booking link in Motion. The widget shows the availability supplied by Motion.
You changed the booking link
Section titled “You changed the booking link”Open the widget settings in Vaam and replace the old URL with the new public Motion booking link. Preview the video again before sharing it.
