Email warm-up and daily sending limit

Vaam sends at most 40 sequence emails per day for each user. A new account starts lower and grows to this limit. This protects your sender reputation and helps your emails reach the inbox.

  • The limit is 40 emails per day for each user.
  • The day follows your own time zone.
  • An admin can set a different limit for your account on request. Contact support to ask.
  • Vaam sends the emails that do not fit in a day on the next sending day.

A forced send and a manual send from the Vaam web app are not limited. Vaam sends them even when the daily limit is reached.

During warm-up, the daily limit grows each sending day, from 5 emails to 40 emails over 21 sending days. A sending day is a weekday on which your email schedule allows sending.

| Sending day | Emails per day | | --- | --- | | 1 | 5 | | 2 | 7 | | 7 | 16 | | 11 | 23 | | 21 | 40 |

After sending day 21, the normal limit of 40 applies.

  • Warm-up starts automatically when a new account connects its first mailbox.
  • Other accounts can start warm-up by hand.
  • Connecting a second mailbox does not start a new warm-up.

Warm-up applies to the mailbox that you connected when it started. If you connect a different mailbox, the normal limit applies to it.

Select Stop warm-up to end warm-up. The full daily limit applies at once. Vaam still spreads emails over your email schedule.

Vaam spreads the emails over your email schedule. It does not send them all at the start of the day. Follow-up emails go before first emails.

When the limit for the day is reached, Vaam holds the remaining emails until the next sending day.
