Cloning a sequence

Clone an existing sequence to reuse its structure and messaging.

Clone a sequence

1. Go to your sequences page.
2. Find the sequence you want to clone.
3. Click the three-dot menu (⋯) next to the sequence.
4. Select Clone.

Vaam creates a new sequence with the same steps and content as the original. Edit it before you activate it.

Videos in a cloned sequence

Vaam keeps a video in the clone only if you recorded it. A video that someone else recorded is not copied.

This rule also applies to a video appended to a personalized video. If the appended video is missing or belongs to someone else, Vaam removes it and keeps your primary video.

If a message uses the {video} tag and has no video after cloning, add your own video to that step before you use the sequence. Vaam shows a reminder after you clone from the sequence menu or a shared link.
