Combine two videos

Combine lets one video play straight after another, so your viewer watches both as one video. A combination always has exactly two parts: a first video and a second video.

  1. Open the share page of the video that should play first.
  2. Click Combine with other vaam.
  3. Select the video that should play second.
  4. Click Combine with selected.

You can also add a second video to a personalized intro in a sequence step, or to a macro. The same rule applies there.

The second video cannot already be combined

Section titled “The second video cannot already be combined”

A video that is already combined with another video cannot be the second part of a new combination. Vaam does not let you select it, and shows a message that explains why.

If Vaam allowed it, the last part could be left out, and your viewer would never see it.

For example, you combine “Demo part 1” with “Demo part 2”. Then you make a personalized intro and select “Demo part 1” as its second video. Your prospect could see the intro and “Demo part 1”, but not “Demo part 2”. Vaam prevents this.

A video that is not combined can be the second part of as many combinations as you like.

  1. Open the share page of the video that plays first.
  2. Click Combined.
  3. Click Uncombine vaams.
  4. Combine the video again with the new second video.

To play three or more parts in a row, make the second part one single video:

  1. Record or upload one video that contains all the parts you want to play after the first one.
  2. Combine your first video, or your personalized intro, with that new video.

If you cannot make a new video, contact Vaam support for help.

Some older combinations already use a combined video as the second part. These combinations can leave out the later parts. To fix one, change the second video to a video that is not combined.
