Use a custom booking widget in your video
Add a custom booking widget to your video
Section titled “Add a custom booking widget to your video”Use a custom widget when your booking provider is not listed in Vaam’s calendar services. Vaam displays the page in an iframe next to your video, so use a reusable public HTTPS booking page that the provider allows other websites to embed.
- In your booking provider, open the public booking page you want to share.
- Copy its HTTPS URL. Prefer a reusable booking page instead of a one-time link.
- Open the share page for your Vaam video.
- Below the video player, select Add widget and then New widget.
- Choose Custom from the calendar service dropdown.
- Paste the URL into Your calendar link, then select Add.
- Select Preview to confirm the page loads and recipients can use it.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”The page is blank or says it cannot be displayed
Section titled “The page is blank or says it cannot be displayed”Your provider may block iframe embedding. Test the public link in a private browser window, then check the provider’s sharing or embedding settings. Vaam cannot override a provider’s embedding restrictions.
The page asks recipients to sign in
Section titled “The page asks recipients to sign in”Use a public booking-page link and update its sharing settings in your booking provider. The page should work for a recipient who is not signed in to your account.
The provider does not allow embedding
Section titled “The provider does not allow embedding”Add the public booking link as a button in your Vaam video instead. A button opens the provider’s booking page directly and is the better option when iframe embedding is blocked.
