LinkedIn warm-up
LinkedIn warm-up helps a new or recently restricted account return to normal activity gradually. Vaam starts with low limits and increases them over 14 days until the account reaches the Safe tempo.
What warm-up changes
Section titled “What warm-up changes”Warm-up changes LinkedIn activity limits only. It does not change your saved tempo, and it does not send emails. During warm-up, Vaam uses the lower of the warm-up limit and your saved tempo.
The ramp starts at about one fifth of the Safe limits and reaches the full Safe limits on day 14. After the 14 days, warm-up ends and your saved tempo applies again. If you selected Standard, Aggressive, or Custom, Vaam keeps that choice for after warm-up.
When warm-up starts
Section titled “When warm-up starts”For a new LinkedIn connection, Vaam starts warm-up during onboarding. Existing accounts are not added automatically. If you already connected your account, or if you reconnect it, warm-up does not start by itself.
You can start warm-up manually from Settings → LinkedIn Settings. Vaam may recommend it after LinkedIn shows a warning or a short restriction. Open the recommendation and select Start warm-up when you are ready.
If a restriction disconnects your LinkedIn account, reconnect it first. See If Vaam loses your LinkedIn connection. Reconnecting does not start warm-up by itself — start it manually from LinkedIn Settings afterward.
Start or skip warm-up
Section titled “Start or skip warm-up”- Open Settings.
- Select LinkedIn Settings.
- In LinkedIn warm-up, select Start warm-up.
- Review the message, then select Start warm-up again to confirm.
If warm-up starts during onboarding, you can select Skip warm-up. Vaam asks you to confirm before it removes the temporary lower limits. Skipping means that the warm-up limits no longer apply. You can start a new warm-up later from LinkedIn Settings.
Follow your progress
Section titled “Follow your progress”The LinkedIn warm-up card shows Day N of 14, Progress, and Today’s effective limits. The limits cover hourly actions, daily actions, and weekly connection requests. The card also shows the date when warm-up ends.
Warm-up does not replace your tempo setting. It is a temporary safety layer over that setting. For general LinkedIn safety guidance, see Keeping your LinkedIn account safe and LinkedIn scheduling.
