Add a form to a video
You can attach a Quick Form to a Vaam video when you want the viewer to answer questions after watching or while the video is still on the page.
This works well for demo requests, qualification questions, event interest, coaching or fitness questions, and any other short conversion flow.
Add a form to a video
Section titled “Add a form to a video”- Open the video in Vaam.
- Open the conversion tools for the video.
- Choose Quick Form.
- Select a published form.
- Choose how the form should appear.
- Save the video settings.
Display options
Section titled “Display options”Quick Forms can appear in three ways on a video:
- Button: Shows a call-to-action button that opens the form.
- Inline: Shows the form directly on the video page in an iframe.
- After video: Shows the form after the viewer reaches the end of the video.
Use a button when the form is optional. Use inline or after-video when the form is the main next step.
What Vaam tracks
Section titled “What Vaam tracks”When a viewer submits a form from a video, Vaam records the submission as a form activity. The video can also count the submission as a conversion so you can understand how well the video drives action.
Form answers are not stored in the public video activity log. They stay with the form submission and are shown only in the places where authorized users can review them.
- Match the form to the video promise. If the video asks the prospect to request a demo, the form should ask only for the details needed to handle that demo request.
- Keep the button label specific, such as “Answer 3 questions” or “Request a plan.”
- Avoid asking sensitive questions unless the prospect clearly understands why you need them.
