Snoozed Tasks
When Vaam’s automation encounters a situation where a task can’t be completed right away, it snoozes the task — temporarily postponing it to be retried later. This is a normal part of how sequences operate and is designed to protect your LinkedIn account while keeping your outreach moving.
Why Tasks Get Snoozed
Section titled “Why Tasks Get Snoozed”Tasks are snoozed when the automation detects a temporary issue that prevents a step from completing. Common reasons include:
- LinkedIn rate limits — You’ve reached LinkedIn’s limit for connection requests or messages
- Pending connection requests — You’ve already sent an invitation that hasn’t been accepted yet, so a follow-up message can’t be delivered
- Temporary errors — A page didn’t load correctly or LinkedIn returned an unexpected response
- Daily action limits — You’ve reached Vaam’s built-in safety limits for the day
Snoozing is different from pausing or canceling. A snoozed task is still active — it’s simply waiting for the right time to retry.
How Long Does a Snooze Last?
Section titled “How Long Does a Snooze Last?”The snooze duration depends on the reason:
| Duration | When It’s Used |
|---|---|
| 1 hour | Temporary errors, unknown issues, or when a task couldn’t be completed automatically |
| Until next day | Daily message limits reached, or a connection request is still pending |
| Until next week | Weekly LinkedIn invitation limit reached |
Once the snooze period ends and your next scheduled automation window begins, the task is automatically retried — no action needed from you.
How Snoozing Works With Your Schedule
Section titled “How Snoozing Works With Your Schedule”Snoozed tasks respect your LinkedIn automation schedule. A task will only be retried when both conditions are met:
- The snooze period has passed
- The current time falls within your configured automation hours
For example, if a task is snoozed for one hour at 4:30 PM and your schedule ends at 5:00 PM, the task won’t retry until the next day when your schedule resumes.
What You’ll See in the Activity Log
Section titled “What You’ll See in the Activity Log”When a task is snoozed, it appears in the prospect’s activity log with a message explaining the reason. For example:
- “Snoozed (daily message limit)”
- “Snoozed (weekly invitation limit)”
- “Snoozed (pending connection request)”
This helps you understand why a particular step hasn’t been completed yet.
Manual Task Snoozing
Section titled “Manual Task Snoozing”For manual steps in your sequence (tasks that require you to take action), you can snooze them yourself from the Tasks page. Manually snoozed tasks are postponed until the next business day and will reappear in your task list when the snooze period ends.
